Reading Time: 2 minutesThe Call for Session Speakers & Sponsors
One of the many cool things about working in Silicon Valley is the spirited exchange of ideas. Silicon Valley Code Camp (SVCC 2014) is a shining example. It’s two days of jam-packed sessions on topics that educate and stir things up for professional coders and developers.
What Is SVCC 2014?
Every year Peter Kellner organizes the largest Code Camp in the country, right here in Silicon Valley. My prediction is that SVCC 2014 attendance will surpass last year’s record of 2,700+ attendees from all over Northern California. SVCC 2014 is a community event where developers come together to discuss a wide range of topics. Last year we gave several talks on SEO, including advanced keyword research techniques. If you’ve got something interesting to share, consider adding to the 200+ session line-up.
The Particulars
First, mark your calendar for October 11 & 12. The location is Foothill College in Los Altos.
Next, you’ll need to register for SVCC 2014. Once you’re registered, you must submit your session particulars for approval. It helps if you’ve spoken at other similar events and your session content is of interest to the SVCC audience.
Registration & Sponsorship
Even if you aren’t interested in speaking at Code Camp, I suggest you register. The website is updated frequently as sessions are added. Last year they had to close registrations early due to huge interest. Oh, did I mention that SVCC 2014 is free? It’s also a fabulous venue to get your brand name out there, so consider a purchasing sponsorship.
Will we see you in October?
