Google Search: Join a Field Trial

Google Search Experiment Underway

Do you love all things Google Search? Then you might be interested in taking part of a field trial experiment. But only if you have an @gmail.com account. Sadly, Google App accounts aren’t eligible. The field trial is part of a preview of upcoming features and improvements within Gmail and Google.com. The trial is testing:

• Enhanced flight tracking features – cool especially if you travel a lot
• Search for upcoming appointments in your Google Calendar – if you’re so busy that you can’t recall who you’re meeting, when and where
• Integrates gmail messages and shared links in your Google Search results – this isn’t creepy at all…proof that Google sees everything
• Look for documents, spreadsheets and presentations and other files saved onto Google Drive – see paranoid note above
