Reading Time: 2 minutesSelling Fast
Woo hoo! WordCamp SF 2014 tickets are now available! The official announcement was made Monday, September 8… hot on the heels of the WordPress 4.0 release. As a WordPress only agency, this is a big, once-a-year event where fellow WordPressers gather to network, share ideas, and learn about upcoming new features for this popular content management system (CMS).
Later Than Usual
WordCamp SF 2014 tickets registration seems like its later this year. We’re about 6 1/2 weeks out from the Mission Bay event and they’ve just opened up ticket sales. I’m glad I marked my calendar early…
As of 9/8 12:49pm there were only 120 tickets left for general admission to the two-day event. At $40 a ticket, my prediction is that they will go very, very fast. There is a chance they will release different blocks of tickets over several days. If you don’t get a ticket before they are gone, check back later. Or, try buying a live stream pass.
As a past in-person participant, it’s way more fun to listen to the speakers and network with other WordPress campers. But a live-stream ticket is better than none. By the way, there are also a few scholarship tickets available.
Session Line Up
While WordCamp SF 2014 tickets are available, the speaker line-up is still forming. At the event there will be two tracks available: one technical/developer related and another that’s more content/user focused.
I’ve got my ticket. Will I see you there? If so, what track?
Are you convinced that link sculpting is a bad idea? We hope so.
