People telling me that proper SEO isn’t effective or search engine optimisation is
on its way out, do you think Google is trying to get rid of SEO?
Are you active on any forums?
Alyson Harrold
Google isn’t a fan of SEOs trying to game their algorithm. Using optimization techniques that help people find your website won’t go away as long as there are search engines. So, the answer is no, we don’t think that SEO is on it’s way out. A good rule of thumb is to ALWAYS put the human visitor’s interest first. Provide great content that answers questions. Give them good value and a clear call to action.
We are an active participant on Google Partners, as we are a certified agency. You can see our profile here.
Commenting on forums should be a way to cultivate relationships rather than build SEO. Forum commenting has been devalued by Google.
