Pay Per Click Advertising or PPC is a way of advertising your website, products, or services on other websites. Your ads appear on Bing, Google, or Yahoo, or other search engines via a search engine results page (SERP). Or you can display graphical ads on participating websites.
Online advertising is the fastest way to get your business visible in search. Search engine optimization (SEO) is a long-term digital marketing strategy, while PPC can deliver faster results. Since you are paying to get visibility, you control how and when your brand appears. But the playing field is based on an auction bidding system, so you’re paying to play and the market sets the bid price.
Managing Your Account
Our management fee is calculated based on the number of online platforms you choose to advertise on (e.g., Google, Bing, Facebook) as well as the amount of money you spend on each platform. If you spend less than $5,000 on ads, our monthly management fee is $840. So let’s say you choose to spend $5,000 on Google Ads, your total monthly outlay would be $5,840 ($5,000 paid directly to Google and $840 to Spectrum for account management).
If you spend more than $5,000 per month within one channel, then our management fee is 17% of your total ad spend. We’ve found that the more you spend advertising on a channel, the more time is required to manage the account. Therefore, a larger account needs more guidance to ensure it’s optimized and performing well.

Besides advertising on Google, Bing, and Yahoo, most social media websites also offer paid advertising to reach a targeted audience. If you want to advertise with a social media ecosystem — like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn — we can help you.
How Much Do You Actually Spend?
When you work with us, you own and retain control of your PPC accounts. You grant us access to work on your behalf, so you won’t lose any of the work you pay for. The marketing dollars you spend with Google or other advertising platforms are controlled directly by you. Therefore, our management fee does not include your ad spend.
How Is Your Budget Spent
You may be asking how your marketing dollars are translated into getting leads. Well, you pay for actual clicks on your ads. Your ads are constructed with search phrases (keywords) that people use when looking for your type of business on Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. We’ll work with you on finding the right keywords at the right price that lead to the right landing page that provides your services. When all these elements are aligned, you generate leads.
As we actively manage and optimize your advertising account, we guide how your ads are displayed and marketing dollars are spent:
- with the right keyword combinations
- with the most productive ads
- located in the right position
- at the right time
- to achieve the best results possible

Does Anyone Click On These Ads?
In short, yes. Lots and lots of people do. Google, Facebook, Bing, and other media platforms earn millions of dollars per year from online advertising. For many, it’s the largest part of their annual earnings.
That’s why PPC platforms are focused on making sure their customers (you, the advertiser) get the right clicks. They don’t want your ads shown to the wrong people as it negatively hits your pocketbook as well as theirs. In essence, everyone is working toward the same goal. You get leads and they get paid in the process.

** We charge 17% of your ad spend. For example, if you spend $10,000 on AdWords your monthly charge from Spectrum will be $1,700.
