Website development is gravitating toward social sharing. WordPress plugins like Sociable WordPress have a huge following (1.7 million downloads and growing). Beyond having social media icons listed, this WordPress plugin provides a customizable platform you can create that allows visitors to rate content (pages, posts, and comments).
Last week a warning was issued as it relates to the plugin’s page settings. Google’s malware warnings are popping up. The problem? The plugin is loading an image from a compromised site, which in turn causes the browser to redirect. For fellow coders who are like me and want to dig into the guts of the problem, Sucuri.net has posted some detail. A fix is still in the works, and they’ll post more resolution details as they are released.
