Preview of 8th Annual Event
Silicon Valley Code Camp 2013 planning is underway. In it’s 8th annual year, it is the largest free event by and for the developer community in the world (no kidding). Held at Foothills College, over 2,000 coders, developers and technical enthusiasts gather to network and learn. Peter Kellner organizes this two-day event and he holds to these principles:
- By and For the developer community
- Always free
- Never occurs during working hours
Last year, sessions covered a wide variety of topics. Silicon Valley Code Camp 2013 promises to be just as good if not better. Some of the sessions already submitted include:
- Creating Stunning Data Visualization in HTML5
- Data Analysis Jumpstart
- SEO Basics (by yours truly)
- Fun with Tuples!
- Blogging: Fuel for the SEO Engine (by my partner, Alyson)

Last year nearly 2,500 attendees swarmed the Foothills College Campus. They expect another great turnout, and may even have to limit registrations. That said, we suggest going to SVCC’s website and registering now. Then put October 5 & 6 on your calendar. You can also check out the 90+ sessions that have already been submitted.
Looking for some public speaking experience? Have something techy and cool to share? Silicon Valley Code Camp is still accepting speakers.
