One of the major advantages of being located in the heart of Silicon Valley is our proximity to such giants as Facebook, LinkedIn, Netflix, eBay… and our favorite, Google. As a part of the Google Partner Community, we had the opportunity to have lunch at their headquarters in Mountain View. In this post, we’ll share our few of our impressions.
A City Within a City
There are so many Google buildings it’s easy to get lost. There was a certain irony in having to use Google Maps on the Google campus in order to find our Google meeting. Sound like too much Google? Not in my book.
Googlers Are Really Nice
From the receptionist who checked us in for our visitor badges to the cafeteria staff, every one was very welcoming. Everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. Maybe it was because it was a Friday afternoon… but I think Google employees feel a part of something special.

We can confirm that Google treats their employees well. Happy employees stay longer and work harder. Each building seemed to have their own cuisine. It was also heartening to see they used environmentally friendly plates, utensils and dispensaries. We were also able to partake of some healthy eating choices, including a kale smoothie.
We had the opportunity to share our thoughts about the Google Partner Program. Our host, Sara Choi, was phenomenal. She assembled several folks who interact with agencies like ours. Her Director summed up their mission in one word: Help. I was certainly glad to hear they use their power for good.
Have you been to the Mountain View campus? Did you go crazy in the Google store like I did?
